Hi,

I'm modifying MSPBoot using SPI programming for msp430f5659.

I Have some question about MSPBoot.

First, MSPBoot support msp430G2553, G2452, FR5739.

And MSPBoot also support msp430f5659 In this page https://e2e.ti.com/support/microcontrollers/msp430/f/166/t/594407 

So, i modified msp430G2553_SPI example code.

I think, the main code of spi example code just change register like IE2 → UCA0IE and so on.

Is that right?

Second, linker file in msp430G2553_SPI example code 

I want to make linker file for msp430f5659.

But, I don't know what's the msp430f5659 address in lnk.cmd file.

And, linkerGen in example can't generate msp430f5659 linker file.

How do i modify the linker file for msp430f5659?

    Hi Youngjun,

    Your thread link was broken but I suppose you are talking about the following: e2e.ti.com/.../
    It also appears that you have received previous support by : e2e.ti.com/.../594407

    You are correct in that changes to the (e)USCI/SPI modules will be required in code. You will need to provide the default lnk_msp430f5659.cmd file into the linkerGen script from MSP430FRBoot to create a custom linker file for large-memory model devices.
