MSP430F5529: USB Descriptor tool install

Hello,

 

I was trying to download the USB descriptor tool for MSP430F5529. I have gone through the below and downloaded the  MSP430USBDEVPack.

But in that pack I didn't find any application find to install.

In this pack, one folder named as  "MSP430_USB_DescriptorTool" contains the bellow files and folders --


 

So, can somebody please help me in finding the installation file for USB descriptor tool? Thanks in advance.

    Hello Dipankar,

    The MSP_USB_Descriptor_Tool.jar file, which is shown on your screenshot as the WinRAR archive, is the executable you are looking for. It should be opened with a Java Runtime Environment installed on your system.

    Dear Ryan,

    Thanks a lot. I had installed Java and the .jar file is now opened.

    I have another query. While going through the demo video given by Texas on Youtube and also in TI website, <https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=63JXa3pX3XU>  at 3:50 min, a project named "emulStorageKeyboard " in imported/implemented.  But while going through the resource explorer I didn't find any project named like "emulStorageKeyboard" inside any project example folder. It shows these example projects --

     

     

    So, can you please let know which example project I should go for?

    Hi Dipankar,

    The emulStorageKeyboard project is stored under the Development Tools -> MSP-EXP430F5529LP -> Examples folder, labeled as the Out of Box Experience.
