Tool/software: Code Composer Studio
I am designing a board with the above mentioned MCU. I am trying to program using an eZ-FET Lite.
The connections I made were
On ez-FET lite On my Board
3.3V ----------------> AVcc/DVcc
SBWTEST ------------->SBWTCK
SBWRESET ----------->SBWTDIO
GROUND--------------->AVss/DVss
But I don't understand how to connect the rest of the pins i.e. TXD,RXD, CTS and RTS.
I do know that UART on the MSP430 has connections for TXD and RXD but how to connect them is a bit if a mystery for me.
I did try to read up on it on the forum but they have only spoken about connection with a Launchpad but not a standalone MCU.
Another doubt I had is if we could use 4 wire JTAG interface with eZ-FET Lite or is it limited to Spy-Bi-Wire.?
I am new to UART and interfacing it so forgive in case any mistakes were made.
