RTOS/MSP432P401R: MSP432 FLASH API Driver in TI-RTOS

Hi Champion,

My customer use MSP432 with TI RTOS, now they want to use FLASH API to program and erase their data in FLASH, but I cannot find example and TI-Driver in MSP432simplelink SDK, do you know where can get it?

Hello Joe,

If the customer is using the SimpleLink SDK, then the TI drivers for erasing and programming the data in Flash is called NVS drivers.

NVS in the v1.30 SDK is preliminary (thus the lack of documentation and examples). We wanted to get some customer feedback. The next release of the SDK will have full documentation and examples. It changed slightly also (based on feedback). The next release is slated to be released in a month or so. If your customer needs it immediately, please contact me. If they can wait a bit, they should get the next release (the plus for waiting will that it will have been fully regression tested).
