MSP430FR2311: Is there a way to configure an IO port as high-impedance?

I want to do two operation on I/O.

1. P1OUT &= ~BIT2;

2. High Impedance on same Bit

So any one guide me how to configure in high impedance mode ?

Hello Kelvin,

After a BOR reset, all port pins are high-impedance. However, after the LOCKLPM5 bit is cleared, there isn't a way to configure a pin to be in high impedance mode.

High impedance is an input pin, so do P1DIR &= ~BIT2;

As Dennis mentioned, you can set it as input! To avoid floating inputs, you should enable the pulldown/pullup resistor for this pin. This will result in an impedance of around 30k ohm.
