Hi,

I have to interface Sharp memory lcd with MSP430FR6989. I want to know whether the LCD available in the MSP430Fr6989 launchpad is the Sharp memory LCD ?  If not can anyone please confirm whether the below shown lcd is a sharp memory lcd or not ?? It is having I2C protocol. But in the TI site I have seen a boosterpack with SPI protocol. Also nme is not displayed on the LCD. Please help. I am just a beginner. Please help me!!! Thanks for the help in advance.

    The '6989 launchpad's on-board LCD is probably not what you want. If you buy the sharp lcd boosterpack separately and attach it to the launchpad, you can use the grlib functions and top-level examples that are part of MSP430Ware. As a beginner, you may finds this much easier.
