MSP430I2040: Does it support Rogowski?

Hi team,

We have 3-phase Rogowski-based e-meter ref design. Do we have solution for single-phase, for example, with MSP430i2040?

    Hi Kien,

    Hope you are doing well. Thanks for your post and interest in Rogowski. The MSP430i2040 can support Rogowski coils, but unfortunately we don't have any i20xx-related collateral that describes how to do this.

    To get started, I would recommend referring to the 3-phase Rogowski TI Design. Then, after figuring out how what the Rogowski code does, you can integrate this into the single-phase i20xx source code. Basically, Rogowski coils similar to CT's, but they introduce a substantial phase shift. The signal needs to be integrated (filtered).

    I wish I had more to provide, but I will pass this request for Rogowski coil support on i20xx devices over to our Marketing teams.
