TSS721A: Can we get device work when VMB 60V?

Hi Team,

My customer use TSS721A as MBUS device, now there were new requirement that the MBUS device input voltage need stay in 60v for 5min, the datasheet said the MAX VBM is 42V, so can we do something to get 60V max input?

    Hi Samsai,

    As you've stated, the maximum VMB allowed for the TSS721A is 42 V and operation outside of this specification is not supported by TI. The customer will have to use a different meter-bus transceiver or incorporate level-translation circuitry to meed the required 60 V.
