MSP430g2955: Modify RAM via spy-by-wire

Hello,

Does anyone know if it is possible to actually MODIFY ram values at specific locations(ex: variable) of the running program via the SpyByWire interface?

Can this be done programatically (C-API??)? I cant see a way to do it in CCS, and MSPFlasher doesn't seem to have a direct method of this? Can anyone point me at tools or a good resource?
