MSP430F5528: Need Active Power Consumption Details

Hello,

We are using MSP430F5528 MCU for our project, for actual power consumption requirement we need actual current consumption for each power supply rail for MCU. As per datasheet there are lots of current value but as we want what value we need to consider?

We are using 4MHZ crystal for XT2 & 32.768KHz crystal for XT1.

We also using the USB feature of MCU.

    Hi Nimesh,

    There is only on power supply for the whole device.

    You can find the Active Mode and Low Power Mode Supply Current Into VCC Excluding External Current  in section 5.4&5.5 of the device datasheet as with the specified operation.

    If you used other peripherals not listed in the section 5.4&5.5 operation, please refer the specified section for the peripherals which would have the power consumption data with noted test condition.

    I would also recommend  you to test the actual power consumption as it is related with the PCB design and device configuration such as the GPIO setting, clock setting, low power setting.
