do any of our MSP devices support ARP SMBUS protocol?

I believe this can be implemented in software but wondering if we have any example, sample code, app note to help with this effort

In addition to what Katie commented on, We do have the SMBLib available within MSP430Ware. It does not support ARP however. This is partially due to the fact that as a slave, the MSP430 cannot detect arbitration, and thus ARP messages get garbled. If the MSP430 is the host, or you can guarantee the MSP430 "speaks" first and other slaves have arbitration, then it might be possible.

yes, I had seen that e2e post and others suggesting how one may go about implementing ARP, but since the posts are old (2015) I figure I check to see if anything had changed. I was on an e-mail thread that suggested someone in TI was working on such a solution.
