MSP430F5419A: wide range sensor interface with micro controller.

Hi Nithin,

Can you provide more information about the sensor and how it is being used with the MSP430? Is it simply a binary output where below 14V = 0 and above 14V = 1?

 This is a sensor from railway product .

output of the sensor is 4 to 5 ma 

 It is a binary output as you guess

 Below 14v=0 and above 14v = 1, ( but volage may go high up to 110v)

we need to monitor the status of the sensor (0 or 1), with isolation.

This might be a question that's better answered by our isolation team but I'll get some more info before looping them in:

1. What kind of data rate are you trying to achieve?
2. Can you provide the sensor part number?
