hey, Guys;

I write a code to blink the led like picture;

and I compiler the code and debugger is OK;

just downloading the code on the MSP430F5529 USB exp board,But IO wasn't action .plz help .

I hope the led IO(P2.6) cant blink.

P2DIR is a set of bits, numbered from P2.0 as the low bit. (the same as P2OUT). This makes only P2.0 an output. To make P2.6 an output try:

> P2DIR = BIT6; // P2.6 output, all others input

or better:

> P2DIR |= BIT6; // Only P2.6 output

OK,thx,i resolve,But i have the other question.

that is my delay_ms subroutine it look like can't enter.

and led always flash white.

Empty loops are unreliable for delays. As I recall, the F5529 runs at around 1MHz at startup, so try:

> __delay_cycles(1000); // 1ms = 1000 clocks at 1MHz

Sorry , i used __delay_cycles(1000); but that look can't work;

I use debugger step by step to debugger ,I found the __delay_cycles(1000) subroutine can't enter;

but i fix the code by myself at picture; Could u give the __delay_cycles(1000) subroutine demo_code

__delay_cycles is generated inline, so there's no entry point per se. Based on your earlier code, try:

void delay_ms(int s)
{
int i;
for (i = 0; i < s ; ++i)
__delay_cycles(1000); // 1ms = 1000 clocks at 1MHz
return;
}
