    Hi Remony,

    In short the answer is yes, there have been cases where CapTIvate is used in a trackpad-like setting using a multiplexed mutual capacitance structure that is very similar to already-existent solution layouts. However TI does not yet provide any layouts or examples of this format so currently the solution must be developed from an individual basis.
