Hi,

We purchased MSP-EXP430F5529LP 2pcs with Mouser, however, there is 1pcs of experimental board, it's LED which connects to USB won't light.

Also, in the device administrator can not find MSP Application UART1 and MSP Debug Interface these two related ports. Another 1pcs is normal.

Mouser let us to contact with you directly and see if you can provide ticket # to request return.  Please check and reply asap. Thanks.

    Hi Bethy,

    Does your computer recognize that any USB device has been connected? If it is having trouble installing the low-level USB drivers then you may need to download and install them manually from the MSPDS page. Did the MSP-EXP430F5529LP come undamaged/unopened and in ESD protective packaging? Which board rev is it marked as and do you have any order numbers from the box?  If you have a MSP-FET and the necessary connectors then you could try reprogramming the eZ-FET lite from the following Wiki page's software download: processors.wiki.ti.com/.../EZ-FET_lite

    If this device really is defective then I will contact you separately about a replacement.

    Hi Ryan,

    MSP-EXP430F5529LP come undamaged/unopened and in ESD protective packaging. We bought 2 pcs, 1pcs can work, however, another 1pcs can not work.

    Which board rev is it marked as and do you have any order numbers from the box?
    ==> Do you mean the rev on the box? I saw "V" on it.
    ==> I can not see the order numbers from the box.
    ==> I am trying to give you the box label, but it seems can not work here.

    We want to return 1pcs, we don't need the replacement. Mouser's Sales Order #: 240178323. Please see if you can provide ticket# and we can request Mouser to return 1pcs. Please let me know. Thanks.

    The best I can do is replace the unit with your approval and confirmation. If you want it returned then you will need to speak with someone in sales. Mouser should be able to accept a returned item without a ticket number from TI.
