Hi,

Can you help with below for a customer using the MSP430F247?

For device MSP430F247 the customer wants to know does the Errata SLAA423 apply to her design if her crystal is a 13 Mhz crystal and configuring LFXT1 in high frequency mode.

    I don't know all the tricky behaviour to explain XOSC8 problem, but the short answer is no:)

    There is other specification for high frequency range(13Mhz -> 3V min., use of external capacitor, duty cycle, ...) if he has a doubt about XT1 he cans test the crystal with XT2, the two oscillator should be the same
