My customer intends to use the MSP430F5172IRSB internal temp sensor.
what is the typical accuracy that can be reached if they do a single point calibration (as suggested in the datasheet)?

TI does not have any data on temperature sensor accuracy with single point calibration as this is something that the customer would have to perform on their end. They can expect +/- 3 degrees Celsius across temperatures using the TLV constants. Also keep in mind that this refers to die temperature instead of the environment.
