MSP430F2274: not recognized in windows 10

I have been trying to run the led flash example in the IAR 5.4 workbench IDE.

apparently my windows does not recognize the controller.

checking up the device manager the controller is recognized as "USB serial device"

how can i solve this problem?

What is the debugger you are using? Is it the MSP-FET?
