But I tried to use CPU MSP430f6736 (non a) .It didn't reset. Whyyyy??? Problem is software or hardware or cpu. Who ever face this problem. Could you please reply me.

I want to know what is the 'cause of this problem. and I want to know solution the problem.

Thank you.

  • Hi,

I would need more information about your application to figure out what might be causing this, such as if you saw this discrepancy consistently, and what modules you were configuring/using. However, please see the following app note on the differences between the A and non-A devices: www.ti.com/lit/an/slaa666/slaa666.pdf

Hopefully this will allow you to see what differences are causing your issue.

  • Hi, Nathan

I used the same software(from ti support) and hardware(my designed) but different CPU. Measure as the same load and the same time.
    A reset but non-A doesn't. I tested until sure.
what can be the 'cause of CPU reset ?
where I should go to check it ?
  • Hi,

Depending on exactly what software examples you are using, there may be differences between the A and non-A devices. Please use the software provided with the correct product page. You issue may gave to do with using incorrect header files or other IDE project settings that would need to be changed when migrating from one device to the other.

    Regards,
    Nathan
