Does the WDT need to be suspended when entering an LPM or otherwise setting the CPUOFF bit? In other words, will the WDT continue to run if the CPU is off and will a WDT interrupt subsequently wake (or turn on) the CPU?
The reason I ask is because I notice the MSP430 ISA does not include any sort of HALT instruction. If a program encounters a fatal SW error I want to halt the CPU and wait for a WDT interrupt to recover. It then occurs to me that any LPM which involves such SR bit settings
