MSP430FR2311: triggering wake up interrupt event from non GPIO pin to wake from lpm4

Part Number: MSP430FR2311

I am needed to wake up from lpm4 by a voltage rise on a pin. For various reasons, it would be much more convenient to use the TRIO- pin on the MPS430FR2311PW16. This pin is dedicated for the TRIA; however, is it still possble to trigger an interrupt when a rising edge is applied to this pin?

Thank you,

George

  • Hi George,

Unfortunately, the TRI0- pin on the package you've specified is dedicated to the TRIA functionality and therefore does not have interrupt capability. To wake the device from a LPM via a pin interrupt, you'll need to use another pin.
