MSP430F5308: UART using external 4mhz XTAL

Part Number: MSP430F5308

Hi,

Brief question:

All the TI example code for UART operation used the external 32.768Khz crystal as the reference clock on XIN/XOUT.

It looks like from the Users Manual that I can use a 4Mhz crystal on XT2IN/XT2OUT to accomplish the same thing.

Is that correct for a baud rate is 115200?

Is there a downside to using XT2IN/XT2OUT and the higher frequency reference clock?

Thanks!

Blake
