Hi, 
I have some issues in MSP-FET Flash Emulation Programmer. We purchased MSP-FET Flash Emulation tool to program MSP430 Microcontroller. Previously we did programming with MSP-FET430UIF debug interface tool. We are successes for programming. But we are unable to debug the programming in MSP-FET Flash Emulation Tool. Every time it is asking for the “firmware update” and also we are facing the error as "JTAG communication initialization….   failed “and "Verifying Security Fuse….   failed ". please help me out to rectify the debugging problem as soon as possible. For better clarification I am  attaching error file's. Please find the attached file.

Is there any driver need to install.

Any modification in settings.

Any firmware code modifications.

Please let me know.

    Hello,

    Please check the following post as you may be affected by the issue depending on the version or your IDE and which MSP-FET serial number you have.
    e2e.ti.com/.../614826

    I recommend updating to the latest version of CCS and then updating the MSP-FET to its newest FW as well.
