Hi All,

Please tell me about USB Errata USB10 of MSP430F5510.

What is "orphan token" described in Workaround?

It is said that there is no problem with Field-test, but since "orphan token" occurs less frequently, is it no problem?

Or is there no problem even if "orphan token" occurs with the USB Bus Interface?

    Hi Takashi,

    An orphan token as described in this errata is a token packet (the type of packet that is always first in a transaction, before handshake packets, data packets, etc.) that is not part of a transaction. These packets have not been reported to cause any problems, regardless of how often they occur. As stated in the errata, though, this workaround should only be used if this errata behavior is causing problems for the application.
