Tool/software: Code Composer Studio

Hi,

I am working with code composer studio version 5 (CCS V5). I am using MSP430- FET programmer when I set a breakpoint and watch the register they are showing unknown in the register window. What might be the problem? Can I know the register contents to debug?

    Hi Swaroop,

    While the device is running you cannot view register contents during debug. You need to first ensure the device is stopped either at the breakpoint or by pressing the pause button. Also what registers are you trying to read?
