MSP430FR6820: 60KB FRAM memory programming time (I2C BSL)

Hi Team,

could you indicate how much time/seconds does it take to program 60KB FRAM memory by the I2C BSL in MSP430FR6820IG56R?

It would be perfect to have a table for FR6820 like the one below for F149 - this would help with the design process.

    Hi Bartosz,

    Are you aware that you need a MSP430FR682x(1) device for I2C BSL? The closest option is the MSP430FR68221 as the MSP430FR6820 only has a UART BSL and there is no MSP430FR68201 option. Here are results of some tests I ran with the MSP-FET and BSL-SCRIPTER (only including time to write bytes, not entry sequence and setting parameters):

    60 kB with UART 9600 baud: 77 seconds
    60 kB with UART 115200 baud: 11 seconds
    3.75 kB with I2C 400000 kHz: 0.5 seconds
