MSP432 with cc2650 module pack: add new characteristic for led

Hi!

Right now I'm trying to learn on adding characteristic on the LED. I followed steps from link below:

However, I got error.

    Actually, can you please actually use this SimpleLink Academy to interface the CC2650 with the MSP432.

    {EDIT} Looking into this a bit more, it seems you were using the same stuff. I'm trying to look more into this as I go as well and will keep you updated.

    Janna,

    Looking through the error log, it looks like there is a number of syntax errors that you've run into as well as I believe you may have added your own code. You would have to share that so we can look deeper into it.

    This simplelink academy as well as the new project zero code included in the MSP432BLE Plugin 1.25 has the ability to already control the three LEDs.

    After asking around a little bit as well, it actually looks like that the SimpleLink Academy that you linked is out of date and in-fact, not the same as what I linked above. i'm not sure how you got a hold of that lab. Where did you find it? For instance, in the plugin, we no longer have the macro SENSORS_ID_CREATE, we call it PROFILE_ID_CREATE. Since this was written to an old version of the plugin, that lab is no longer valid. Please use the new lab with the new plugin, which I've linked above and again here: dev.ti.com/.../

    Janna,

    I realize that. Unfortunately we don't have updated documentation currently that walks through that that I'm aware of right now. The best place to move forward is to use the old one that you referred to, but when you're given code that produces errors like SENSORS_ID_CREATE, name it PROFILE_ID_CREATE instead. There was some name changes to macros and variables that the base code underwent and this lab didn't get updated which is why this lab is no longer included in the most up to date training.

    Could be changed to

    and so on. 

    Also, you could maybe look into the simple_peripheral example to see more examples of characteristics.
