This is covered in the Basic Clock Module+ section of the Users Guide (SLAU144): www.ti.com/.../slau144j.pdf

There is no RTC or HFXT on this device, but LFXT1CLK does support 32 kHz external crystals.

Does MSP430G2553 have internal clock(DCOCLK or VLOCLK)?
The ctm feedback the clock is impacted by the temperature seriously. Can you give some advice?

Hi Sundy,

The Datasheet shows that the device has both an internal DCO and VLO. Tolerances over temperature are also provided for both, a maximum of +/-6 % for calibrated DCO and 0.5 %/C for the VLO. You can use a more dependable clock source, such as the LFXT, as a reference to tune these clocks.
