CCS/MSP430FR4133: How to start coding and PCB

I am new on the MSP430 and general on the software issues. Me and my team is goin to design a PCB for speed sensor to measure th4 speed of objects. Can someone eplain to me where i have to look about the software? I mean what i have tio study to iunderstadn the ports that i have to use for example. Of course the code will be done on IAR Embedded workbench

Hi,

I would suggest that you start by taking a look at the User's Guide found on the device's product page: www.ti.com/.../MSP430FR4133
That will describe all of the modules available on devices in that device family and how to configure the registers for each one. For the details for that specific device, you can see the datasheet on that page. Additionally, you can use the provided software examples for help on getting started: www.ti.com/.../getliterature.tsp

Hi,

Yeah I know that and I have it. But I don’t know where to look I mean how you call this that I want. How I will understand where in the manual I have to look. I try it the last week but not sure if I look write or not. Can you mention some key point that I should look ?

Hi,

You will first want to determine what modules you are using (ADC, UART, etc.). Then, if you look in that section of the User's Guide, it will give you a description of every part of the module and describe the available registers. What else are you looking for specifically?
