MSP430F5419A: How to write one byte to address 0x1982 in information memory segment?

So you want to write this byte to the above address in addition to your code, which is already in the device?
But you don't want to do this with the code itself, only with the programmer?

Why I ask the question?

Please see the picture. There is a webpage in china who is master to copy the msp430 chip and charge only 200 USD.

I used msp430 chip for many years and it made me nervous.

I am thinking the anti-copy method for a long time.

If your answer is the only way to write the information memory,
I am confident to protect my intelligent properity.

I'm not sure if I got your point.
If you area concerned about your code, you should use the JTAG lock by burning the security fuse.

I'm also not sure what you mean with "the only way to write to info memory".
You can write to info memory in the same way like to the main memory.
