Hi,

I am working on MSP430I2041. I was able to program the IC using ezFET lite programmer available on MSP430F5529LP till yesterday but now it is not working. The following error is displayed on screen:

Error connecting to the target: The Debug Interface to the device has been secured.

I had faced this error sometime back as well but then the board started working after trying to upload for 4-5 times but now I am unable to fix this. I tried updating the firmware on ezFET lite but it was of no use.

What should I do now?

Hi Abishek,

Referring to this thread, the JTAG fuse might be blown and JTAG access is blocked. The MSP430I2041 has no factory BSL (bootstrap loader) so programming via this interface is not possible.

As described in thread above, can you please check your setup and/or test with different device/EVM?
