i need help porting the example code from msp430F5529LP to msp430G2553

how is it done , please guide me.

    Hi,

    I'll try to give your answer step by step with images.

    Step1. File>New>New CCS Project. I choose MSP430F5529 as the first IC to start creating the project.

    Step2. Open the project folder from Project Explorer window and open the targerConfigs folder. Then you should open the MSP430F5529.ccxml by double clicking on it.

    Step3. You can easily choose the new IC name that you want to do your project on it from the list with the name "Board and Device" that has opened after double clicking on ccxml file in the last step. I choose MSP430G2553.
