Is there a way to send all of the ez430 Chrono watch sensor data to a mirco controller wirelessly?

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: CC1101, CC430F6137

Good Day All,

I'm looking for a way to send Temperature, Accelerometer, Time, Heart Rate, Altitude (barometer) data from the ez430 Chrono watch to a micro-controller like the Arduino or Lauchpad wirelessly?  Can this be done. What reciever would I need to hook up to the Arduino micro-controller and how would I configure the watch to send the data? I do not want to go thru a pc.

Thanks for any help you can provide.

  • You can use a CC1101 radio chip to communicate with Chronos.

I do not think LaunchPad is capable of handling CC1101.

Do not know if Arduino can or cannot.

    CC430F51xx, CC430F61xx, CC1110Fx, and CC1111Fx are Flash based micro-controllers with a build-in CC1101 radio. They are your best bet.

Chronos itself uses CC430F6137. PC cannot communicate with Chronos directly, it has to use an external USB device with a CC1111Fx/CC1110Fx chip.
