Sir I am running a code in both windows and Ubuntu 17.10 ,in my MSP430FR5994 launchpad and it shows this error message

Error initializing emulator: MSP-FET430UIF is already in use

Please suggest me solution as i am unable to run any single code on msp due to error on both the operating systems

But I am unable to do it in windows now, and hence i would like to have your guidance for windows
Also if I could know the actual reason for this error

Run the ccstudio as root in ubuntu. i.e.
first, close your Code Composer Studio then run:
> cd /home/user-name/ti/ccsv6/eclipse"
> sudo ccstudio
It solved my problem.
