EZ430-CHRONOS: Device driver installation failed

can you please provide some more information?

• What operating system are you using?
• What is the detailed error message?

When you connect the Access Point to USB, can you please check the device manager if you see the MSP Application UART and MSP Debug Interface like shown in  picture below?

If they don't appear, please go ahead and install Code Composer Studio: http://processors.wiki.ti.com/index.php/Download_CCS This will install the drivers as well.

Hello Andre,
I was able to solve the issue by disabling the "driver signature enforcement", so now I can start an access point in the Control Center but when I go to the ACC tab on my watch and click the down arrow my watch resets and the control center sends the error message "RF Access Point Removed Press OK to close". I am using Windows 10.

unfortunately, we're not planning to support the eZ430 development tool on Windows 10. It should be working on Windows 7 though so hopefully this is also an option for you. Maybe this can already solve the issue.

Let me know if the issue persists even when using Windows 7.
