Working with MSP-EXP430FR6989 kit. There is no exact I2C software example for this part. Working with Resource Explorer and imported to IDE (CCS7.2) eusci_b_i2c_ex4_masterTxSingle
Code builds and loads fine, but does not generate a start bit
Changed the targetconfig and compiler to point MSP430FR6989
Tried Port4.1,4.0 and Tried Port 1.6, 1.7
Confirmed based address for EUSCI was 0x640
Tried other master on same lines and works fine - so slave device is working
Need help to find missing details...
Has someone loaded this example onto this kit and does it work?
