MSP432E401Y: Maximum simultaneous connection in MQTT server application

Can I change this limit?
Is TI having any other solution for more simultaneous connections?
I want to connect atleast 10-15 mqtt connection with one board.

I am actually connecting multiple wifi CC3220 to Ethernet module.

So I need minimum 10 to maximum 15 connection with ethernet MSP432E4 module.

How can I do that? I want just make ethernet as a bridge.

Or If this ethernet microcontroller cannot do that task then please suggest any other simplelink device.

Yes.
My server is ethernet. Ethernet bridge is connected to another server it has strong bandwidth but due to my design constraint I can not connect all other nodes direct to the another server.
Please update me what is maximum capability to run MQTT connection ethernet can handle?
I check that wifi can not handle more than 4 simultaneous connection. Than which simplelink profile will fit in my application?

Let's keep the discussion simple: The Ethernet is working as an MQTT client for the WiFi nodes. It in the end connects to the "Another Server". Now I assume here that the "Another Server" is a MQTT server. If yes, then how many MQQT client connections is it configured to handler.

So just simple I want to increase this Ethernet server's client concurrency.
Yes, Ethernet Bridge is connecting with ABC.com(MQTT broker) mqtt server.But I cannot connect wifi node directly to ABC.com.
So Please tell me how can I increase Ethernet bridge simultaneous connections? Is it possible to increase?

A last request: Could you please draw the connection topology for the system you have? I.e. what is the Ethernet on the MCU connected to, where is the DHCP server, What is connected to the WiFi node for the gateway, etc?

The max number of connections can be changed by adding the pre-define in the Build Settings CFG_SR_MQTT_CTXS. The maximum number possibly is 32. I would suggest that you put the define CFG_SR_MQTT_CTXS=31 to begin with.

I did CFG_SR_MQTT_CTXS=31 in build settings but still, a connection is 6 only.

I also check that if I am decreasing that value I am not getting a lesser connection.So maybe I put at a wrong place.

I select properties of SDK mqtt_clientserver project then build settings at predefined symbols.

In that, I wrote CFG_SR_MQTT_CTXS=4. Clean project and rebuild all.But still, a connection is limited to 6 only.

Please suggest me where I should define that variable.

That is work for me only wifi module.

I follow all steps to wifi then it is working but for Ethernet MSP432e4y for any value, only 7 connection allow at the time.

Please help me what is my mistake?

The description of the issue ought to be more than it doesn't work for me. I have a setup for at most 3 MQTT clients connecting to the broker. You would need to debug and see what the issue is which will help us identify the problem better

I have changed maximum MAX_NWCONN to 31 then compile the whole lib using gmake. After that recompile code of MQTT client-server and check that only 7 connection is possible after that no other client can connect with Ethernet MSP432E4y Mqtt Broker.
So I did one more thing I put breakpoint on MqttServerCallback(..) function. I found that if any new connection is there than I get breakpoint.
But after connecting 7 MQTT client no breakpoint came at that point.It means that MQTT lib doesn't giving any more callbacks.
So I think MQTT lib has one more parameter which put a limit of only 7 connection at a time.
I checked all this same thing in Ti-RTOS code also.

You can take any MQTT client like MQTTfx and connect its multiple instance with the MQTT broker.
So you can check that only 7 connection can establish at a time.

please, bear on mind, that MQTT server is a very sofisticated and a highly scalable tool.
MQTT server designe is not dedicated to the embeded systems!
Sooner or later, depending on your environment, you might enter a quagmire.
