    Hi DT,
    I would recommend looking on one hand into the BOOST-IR infrared booster pack documentation and resources ( slau598a.pdf ).
    On the other hand, there is a complete reference code example based on the Booster pack for the MSP430FR4133, described in the SLAA644B
    While this is not exactly the same device, but from the same MSP430 sub-family, containing the same features required for IR implementation. Thus it should be pretty straight forward, to port the code from MSP430FR4133 to MSP430FR2311.
