TMDSEMU110-U: Technical Specifications

Part Number: TMDSEMU110-U

I am an information systems security officer and our users are questing this equipment for usage within a sensitive area. I cannot seem to find a technical reference to see what sort of memory this has so we can write up destruction prociedures. Does this have RAM? VRAM? SDRAM what???? It does not say anywhere.

Hi,

This product contains only one memory device, which is the TM4C1294NCPDTI3.

Its Datasheet can be found at the following link and contains details about its internal memory.

Hi,

Yes, the XDS110 User's Guide (SPRUI94) mentions the overarching device family (TM4C129) as the "Debug Control CPU" or "Debug Processor" in a number of places.

one last thing, who do Email about requesting a certificate of Volatility that essentially verifies that one cannot write information to the memory from whatever it touches.

Hi,

I am not entirely sure what you mean by Certificate of Volatility. Do you mean:

1) the TMDSEMU110-U cannot have its internal memory contents modified?
2) the TMDSEMU110-U cannot permanently store the contents of the target device/board/equipment it is connected to?

The answers are:
1) Yes, the product has the ability to perform firmware updates via its USB channel
2) No, the product only stores target device/board/equipment information in a volatile way and only when connected to a host computer running our Integrated Development Environment (IDE) named Code Composer Studio (CCS).

If that is what you mean by volatile, I can try to see if such document is available. Otherwise, please advise.

evidently I know it has Flash memory and RAM only but I guess we also need a written something
