MSP430FR6047: MSP430FR6047

Part Number: MSP430FR6047
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: EVM430-FR6047

I am interested in using USS module.

Like registers TC, ADC, etc.  used for various configurations are there such registers which store TOF, flow, etc.?

Please provide link for document.

  • Hello Nidhi,
many thanks for your interest in our Ultra Sound Flow Metering. There is a lot of documentation, tools and SW available for this application example, including a GUI, supporting the evaluation and debugging with the EVM.
Starting off with the Quick Start Guide www.ti.com/.../slau731.pdf
User's Guide for the USS Design Center www.ti.com/.../slau720b.pdf
    EVM HW Guide www.ti.com/.../slau730.pdf

You can find these and other collaterals on the MSP430FR6047 document home page www.ti.com/.../technicaldocuments

There are not necessarily registers for all the values you mentioned. Some of them are processed results. In any case you have access to all these values. Please see for more details the provided code libraries, which are provided in combination with the EVM EVM430-FR6047, and are described in this application SW User's Guide www.ti.com/.../slau732a.pdf

    Best regards
    Peter
  • Can you send me a link of a pdf which will give me access to USS related registers?
  • Hello Nidhi,
sorry, if my explanations have not been clear enough. It is the last link in my previous reply the slau732a.pdf SW library User's Guide, which explains how to use the SW library. The concept is, to provide you the necessary explanations and tools with the USS Design Center GUI to adjust the parameters for your target application, and create this way the final code.
In case you want to get deeper than this abstraction layer, you would have to do it with the the library code itself, with the support of the SW User's Guide.
The library code is still containing the labels for the memory locations and main variables related to the USS measurements. If you halt the code execution, you can monitor the respective values. That's what we offer in this respect. I hope this gives you more insight.

    Best regards
    Peter
