Hello,

I'm using the MPU-6050 to get a bearing heading. I created a thread on this issue before. I made a new one because now I'm trying to use the I2C driver API. Can anyone help on how to go about it?

The piece you want there is the MPU6050 Motion library. It's in C++, so a bit of a pain to translate, but possible. From these APIs you can see the sequence of bytes needed to make the MPU6050 perform each of its functions. For the MSP432 side, I'd refer to the i2c_master_w_multibyte-master_code example in TI Resource Explorer on how to send bytes using the I2C. For example:

Energia code to do Default setup on MPU6050: (fragment from motion::runDefaultSetup() )

Wire.beginTransmission(MPU_ADDRESS);
Wire.write(PWR_MGMT_1);
Wire.write(0); // set to zero (wakes up the MPU-6050)
Wire.endTransmission();

In CCS this becomes: (this is pseudocode, see the example for more details)
