Hi All,
What are the differences between MSP-FET products in 2014 and 2018?
We tested the following questions about the MSP-FET 14-pin JTAG connector.
1. The 2014 version of Pin 4 can be used as an open circuit when using external VCC, but the 2018 version of Pin 4 requires the use of cnnect to connect to the target board VCC.
2. EVM430-F6736 - MSP430F6736 EVM for Metering board on 2014 MSP-FET can use internal VCC to connected for debug but the 2018 MSP-FET requires the use of external VCC.
