CCS/MSP430FR5994: MSP430 does not startup when MSP-FET JTAG disconnected

Hello There,

I have an issue incredibly similar to a previous situation [[View:https://e2e.ti.com/support/microcontrollers/msp430/f/166/t/679007?tisearch=e2e-sitesearch&keymatch=MSP%20FET%20JTAG:1230:0]

], except our system's VCC is set to 1.8V (though, if this is too low we can move to 2V, though this would be the maximum). Our RC values are as follows:

R: 47 kOhm

C: 1500 pF

I can also add a few pictures if anything else is needed, though it is (as I stated above) very similar to the previous thread.

Hi Brad,
the minimum supply voltage for startup is 2V, so if you have applied only 1.8 V the device won't start code execution. With connected JTAG the device is supplied with 3.3 V, that's why it's working with connected JTAG. Please confirm if this is the root cause for your issue.
