MSP430FR2532: Running with 1.8V supply

Part Number: MSP430FR2532

Hi All,

Sorry if this has been addressed before for this part.  I've been having trouble getting my system to run with a 1.8V supply.  I tried to disable the SVS in my code.  Still no luck getting it to boot at 1.8V, but everything is fine 1.9V and above.  After a little more digging, my understanding is that the SVS is active by default and the power supply must exceed 1.9V to start up. At that time my code will run and disable SVS. but with my 1.8V regulator powering the part I’m screwed because the SVS will not let the part out of reset.

Is my understanding correct?  If it is correct, how can TI claim that this will support a supply voltage of 1.8V if it will never come out of reset? Unless you boot at a higher voltage and then drop down later, but it still seems misleading...

Thanks,

John
