MSP430F2272: MSP430F2272 instead of MSP430G2744

Is there any reason they are not considering FRAM?

Thanks for your reply. That'd be great.

My customer has already designed around MSP430G2744 circuit and their MSP430G2744 products are in Mass production.
But we can not order MSP430G2744 YFF package now for their additional mass production, so we are looking for another way.
Migrating to MSP430F2272 from MSP430G2744 is one way we offer to our customer because those 2 devices are pin-to-pin compatible
e2e.ti.com/.../689066
and they can be identified as same device in Electrically and in AC timing.

MSP430FRxxx is very attractive but my customer has no time for changing hardware and software.
I belive MSP430F2272 is best for them.

My question here was if there's a precedent of the migration( from MSP430Gxxx to MSP430Fxxx).
