Hi,

In general a good starting point is to have a look at TI Resource Explorer. This online repository contains all collateral to develop applications with a certain device. Among others it shows:

User's Guide
Data Sheet
Errata
Code Examples
EVM schematics/layout
Software Tools

Here's a link to an I2C example, more examples are available. Please also make sure to read the respective User's Guide chapters of I2C.
