MSP-EXP430FR2433: MSP-EXP430FR2433_OOB_GUI does not work. Please help

Hello,

Running on Ubuntu 18.04 with Firefox 60.01.  Browser plugin and ticloudagent have been successfully installed. libudev.so.0 is linked to libudev.so.1.

The demo board is correctly recognized by dev.ti.com, however the online MSP-EXP430FR2433_OOB_GUI (dev.ti.com/.../) does not work.

When downloading the program to the EXP430FR2433 board the first time, the MSP-EXP430FR2433_OOB_GUI took some time and progressed along with prompts in the browser and blinking red LED on the board until exited with an error:

"! Error downloading program: Error on line 1:  bad lexical cast: source type value could not be interpreted as target.  Please unplug your MSP430FR2433, then plug it back in and try again."

After this, this error happens right away when trying to download the program to the EXP430FR2433 board.  And there are no data stream nor involked data uplink as outlined in the demo instruction.

Please advise, I am not planning on install CCS on this computer yet, just trying to verify the board is functional for now.  Thanks.

    Thanks for your interesting to the MSP430 devices. I'm sorry to hear your issue.

    It seems strange for me with this issue but I would get to our expert for your issue and feedback the solution later.

    Before my feedback, I would like to suggest you to do below actions to get close to the solution:
    1. Use other PC to download code to your board with CCS/IAR standalone. This could make sure your board works well.
    2. Use the dev.ti.com cloud tool to download other FR2433 code example to your board. If it work, the TI could tool on your PC should work well. Then this should be the issue for the specific project OOB_GUI.
    3. By the YES of item2, I would suggest you to re-download the same demo project OOB_GUI by an standalone CCS/IAR, may be on other PC. Let me know the result if possible.
