Compiler/MSP430FR2522: The start time of the touch is too long

Hello all，

When I make the MSP430FR2522 power on ，it takes 4 to 5 seconds to start the captivate touch，How can I reduce this time？

Hi Wade

Can you do a test for that? Put a break point at the while(1) that is in the main() function and calculate the time that from code start to the stop point.

CAPT_appStart() ;，this function takes 2 to 3s to complete。

It looks like the time is cost on the calibration. Can you test how long will take in the function CAPT_calibrateUI(&g_uiApp); that is in the CAPT_appStart() .

If it is the problem from function of CAPT_calibrateUI(&g_uiApp), the way you can reduce the start time can be:
(1)reduce the conversion count value or increase the conversion gain value
(2)increase the captivate active mode scan rate
(3) try to change the parasitic capacitance
