Hello dear TI Support team,

I am trying to get the value of the capacitance change in the form of raw data to plotte it with my own app.

could you please tell me, which function in the captivate library should I use to resolve this problem? my communication interface is UART

Thanks for your interesting in the MSP430 CapTIvate devices.

We have CapTIvate Technology Guide to give detailed guidance for how to design with CapTIvate technology as well as the devices.

For you question, you could go to the section of Software Library->How-To to find which data you could get by calling the CapTIvate library APIs and how to call the APIs in your application code.

If you're expecting to get the row data by a host via UART interface with MSP430 MCU, you could refer the section of Software Library->Communications Module for the data format and communication protocol.
