Opening DriverLib on IAR embedded workbench(IAR version 8.11.2 as per TI user's guide for MSP432P411VT) shows "Variable expansion failed" and unable to open source file. Attaching snapshot.

Please follow the instructions in the documentation (Quick Start Guide for SimpleLink MSP432P4 SDK) to add "Custom Argument Variables" to IAR.

Hi, I went through the document, thank you for that. That "Custom Argument Variables" setting resolved "variable expansion failed" problem.

But the "file open" issue didn't go away. Attaching snapshot. Please help.

Hello Manish,

Looks like you are using SimpleLink SDK 2.10. According to release notes, IAR version 8.20.0 needs to be used. Please update to the newer version of IAR.

Do any other projects work now that the custom argument variables are set?

What I've seen before is if you open an IAR project before setting the custom argument variables than when it opens it can't resolve the paths (like you described) but you may have saved the project with the unresolved paths. The first time you import a project in IAR it resolves the paths, not every time you import it. Because the first time you imported it the paths were wrong I bet this project is corrupted now.

The Quick Start Guide that Sai mentioned allows you to use the IAR "Information Center" to save a copy of the project so that the original doesn't get corrupted like this. That's the recommended way we encourage people to use our SDK within IAR.
